About Me
Technology is a tool that helps us express ourselves. Computers have always helped me tell stories and understand who I am - and I want to do everything I can to help others use technology to do the same.
I am a creative technologist / tech policy enthusiast / lifelong student. I've been working in the open source ecosystem for over 15 years, and I have a strong passion for helping people use technology to tell their stories and make the world a better place. My work has spanned product management, programming, community, and advocacy, with particular areas of focus in the XR/metaverse space, artificial intelligence, and federated/decentralized systems.
Since July 2025, I have led Product Management & Data Analytics at Mozilla Data Collective, where we're building a fair-value exchange platform for ethically sourced multicultural, multilingual, and multi-modal datasets to power a future of AI that is inclusive for all. In addition to my work on the Data Collective, I am currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Data Analytics at Georgia Tech and building a suite of personal AI tools as the founder of the Data Introspection Project.
Prior to Mozilla Data Collective, I was the Ecosystem Development Lead within Mozilla's Innovation Ecosystem organization, where I explored the how to best support new product development in the field of local and open source AI. Before Innovation Ecosystems, I ran the Mozilla Hubs team, where I led a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, product, and community managers in building immersive virtual world experiences in the browser. In 2025, I received my MBA from Columbia Business School, where my studies focused on the intersection of data/AI, leadership, and marketing. At Columbia, I served on the Student Leadership and Ethics Board for the 2023-2024 academic year.
In a previous life, I worked at AWS as a Senior Product Manager and helped launch Open 3D Engine. I enjoy working at the intersection of game technology and the web, and love supporting projects that help everyone have tools and capabilities to build and own personalized 3D worlds and experiences. From 2017-2019, I worked at a virtual reality startup called High Fidelity as an engineering lead on their open source platform, where I worked primarily in C++ and JavaScript to build content and authoring tools for creators. I began my career at Microsoft, where I worked on Azure's machine learning and Microsoft HoloLens projects as a developer evangelist and program manager - as an intern from 2010-2012, and then full time from 2013 - 2017.
My work is now more focused on product strategy, vision, and bringing new technology concepts to life. I'm especially interested in how personalized, on-device machine learning and private data can be used to help people better understand themselves and create a life that reflects their deepest values.
I'm a big fan of open source, emerging technology, and advocating for ethical product policies that protect user privacy and information. From January - March in 2020, I participated in a fellowship with the Aspen Institute and launched The Digital Afterlife Project, a tech policy project designed to help organizations make better decisions about posthumous data collection and management. I have a passion for the web and open ecosystems that enable individuals and teams to be empowered to create and deploy technologies, and have worked with organizations including the World Economic Forum, the W3C, and the Federal Trade Commission to surface and explore considerations for the use and adoption of emerging technologies.
In my free time, I enjoy baking, writing, and spending time in coastal Delaware with my two sons and husband, Zach.
